What better way to learn than by doing! The sixth graders are learning about earth science and specifically rockets, balanced and unbalanced forces, and air dynamics.
They are currently building their own rockets! The launch will be this Friday. Standby for updates in Three… Two… One…
Making predictions in Preschool! With our “Humpty Dumpty” unit, the students will egg-speriment with different materials to decide if they will break or not. So egg-citing!
Family means everything to us. That’s why we spend so much time teaching the children how to interact in a Christian way, how to ask for forgiveness and forgive one another, and how to love our neighbor. Here’s our kindergarten students with their sixth grade buddies, creating memories that last a lifetime
Our Safety Patrol ambassadors received their training from Mrs. Dunwell. Be on the lookout for them to help you and your little ones in the mornings and at dismissal. Safety is a priority, and it’s also a great way to teach our older students how to serve their neighbor.
One of the reasons our school is so special is because we give the children a firm foundation for life. Here our preschoolers are learning about when God created the world in their first preschool chapel. Preschool through eighth grade, the children learn that they are uniquely and beautifully created by God. The same God who created the earth and the stars, created us! Now that is something worth celebrating.
These Bethany 8th graders, who have been together since Kindergarten, were busy selling candy bars for their class trip to Washington D.C. Many thanks to those who supported their efforts today at church.
Our fifth graders study insects in depth. One of the culminating activities is their bug display! (Bugs can be caught and kept alive, or dead bugs are mounted.)
This year our chapel offerings will be going to support the Military Project Mission through Concordia Theological Seminary Ft. Wayne.
The Military Project Mission strives to support chaplains of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod and other military personnel in theaters of war and their families, with prayers, encouragement and items of support for both their body and, most especially, their life in Christ.
Our donations will go toward Body & Soul Care Packages, Devotional Materials, and much more. Click here to find out more! https://www.ctsfw.edu/supp…/give-for-today/military-project/ . We are thankful for our service men and women, our military chaplains, and our freedoms they defend. God Bless America and God Bless Bethany! ❤️ #bethanyproud
What better way to study the life cycle than to experience it first-hand! Life in Kindergarten is SO exciting!
THE MISSION OF BETHANY LUTHERAN SCHOOL IS TO PROVIDE AN EXCELLENT CHRISTIAN EDUCATION AND TO INSPIRE CONFIDENT LEARNERS WHO ARE ABLE TO DISCERN BIBLICAL TRUTH, THINK CRITICALLY, AND LIVE A LIFE OF SERVICE TO GOD AND NEIGHBOR.
