At Bethany Lutheran School, we believe education is about more than preparing students for the next grade. It is about helping children grow in faith, knowledge, character, confidence, and service.

Since 1930, Bethany has provided Christian education to families in the Naperville community. Today, our school continues that mission by bringing together strong academics, Christian faith formation, caring teachers, fine arts, athletics, service opportunities, and a close-knit school community.

A Christian Education from Preschool 2 Through 8th Grade

Bethany provides a continuous educational experience beginning with Preschool 2 and continuing through 8th grade.

Our preschool program provides a warm, Christ-centered environment where young children learn through play, exploration, guided instruction, creativity, movement, and relationships.

Our Kindergarten–8th grade program provides a strong academic foundation in literacy, mathematics, science, history, religion, and other core subjects, along with opportunities in music, art, band, drama, physical education, Spanish, athletics, and service.

Bethany Lutheran School is part of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS). God's Word is central to our school community, and students are encouraged to grow in their understanding of God's love through Jesus Christ.

Faith is woven throughout the school experience through religious instruction, prayer, Bible study, worship, service, and daily opportunities to practice Christian character.

Academic Excellence

We believe students should be challenged to learn, think critically, solve problems, communicate clearly, and use their God-given abilities.

Bethany's curriculum is aligned with Illinois requirements and Lutheran curriculum standards. Students receive instruction from dedicated teachers and specialists, and our students consistently perform above national counterparts on standardized MAP assessments.
