Meet our newest “classmates”- Peaches N’ Cream and Pumpkin Spice! Looking forward to seeing our students grow and develop through real-life experiences!
Train up a child...
We are so thankful to Richard Wistocki with Be Sure Consulting for his incredible presentation about Internet safety today. Ask your fourth through eighth graders what they learned!
We will also be sending home parent videos so you can learn more. These videos will empower you to have meaningful conversations with your child at home.
We love partnering with parents to train up a child in the way that he should go! #Bethanyproud #sent2serve

Here are a few samples of our 4th and 5th grade art projects. Since parents aren’t in the building right now we will bring the art to you! Isn’t it beautiful? #Bethanyproud
Aztec Inspired Art
How beautiful are these Aztec inspired art projects? Way to go, 3rd grade! Very well done! #Bethanyproud
Outstanding Owls
Our kindergarten students are working on their fine motor skills, how to create texture, and learning about nocturnal animals. The personality of each child shines through! #Bethanyproud
Real Life Math
What better way to learn about dividing fractions than by practicing with real life recipes! #bethanyproud #sent2serve

Marty and Randy
It’s time to get creative, Royals! We are issuing a writing challenge to our second through eighth graders at Bethany. These adorable handmade forest animals will be the subject of a creative writing story, and the winner will take them home. Mrs. Dunwell will be judging the writing on creativity, conflict resolution, and the teaching of a moral or value. Each of the classes got to “meet” Marty and Randall today and ask questions. Best of luck to all of our writers! Handwritten submissions (along with a typed final draft if desired) are due by October 31 to Mrs. Fox. Go Royals!
Kindergarten Learning
It’s a busy day in kindergarten! Cutting, drawing, sorting, gluing, vocab words, learning about community and firefighters and first responders, and so much more! #bethanyproud #sent2serve

the Royal Run
Today we kicked off our Royal Run! The students run a quarter mile at a time throughout the year, and by the end of the year, they will have run 26.2 miles. Thanks to Mr. Baganz for organizing a great day. We paired it with a BLS Spirit Day; check out the beautiful spirit our kids have! #bethanyproud #Sent2Serve

We ❤️ having pastors in our classrooms!
The "eyes" have it!
“....for my eyes have seen your salvation that you have prepared in the presence of all peoples, a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and for glory to your people Israel.””
Luke 2:30-32
Enjoy these pencil drawings by some of our Jr. High students!
Celebrating our Alumnae!
Let's celebrate Bethany Alumnae Brittany and Fran today! Fran is a Human Biology major on the Pre-Med track, and Brittany is is studying Psychology and Church Ministry at Concordia Wisconsin. Please take a moment to pray for these beautiful and talented ladies today!
Fun fact: They have been friends for 13 years (since Kindergarten at Bethany Lutheran School!) and became even closer in High School as they encouraged one another in their Christian walk. Good friends in the Lord are a blessing!
1st Cross Country race of the season!
1st race of the season! So proud of these kids who ran tough despite rainy weather. Thanks to the coaches, fans, and teachers who came out to support our Royals! #bethanyproud
The Lord is with us, always!
Our 2nd graders are learning about Creation, the Flood, and God's promises during religion class. The Lord is with us always!
"...just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Matthew 20:28
Welcome to His Kingdom!
God bless this beautiful child in her baptism! We welcome her with loving arms to God's kingdom, and pray for a blessed life in Christ.
Amen, we LOVE our Christian Schools
Observational Drawing in Jr. High
Incredible art pieces by our Jr. High! In order to work on their observational drawing skills, the students drew an object from their art box. The object was altered for the 2nd drawing, and finally, they added either a human or animal characteristic as well as movement for the 3rd and 4th drawings. Thanks for such an entertaining lesson, Mrs. Staunch! #bethanyproud #Sent2Serve
Rain, rain, go away.... ahh never mind. We love indoor recess too!
Sent to Serve
The theme of Bethany Lutheran School for the 2020 school year is “Sent to Serve” taken from Matthew 20:28.
In keeping with this theme, we have many different service projects planned for all ages throughout the school year.
Today a group children learned how to pull weeds, step around the good plants, and maintain an outside area. Each student got their own special pair of garden gloves.
There are so many reasons to be thankful this year. #Bethanyproud #sent2serve
