The overall them of our stained glass windows is Christ the King: The village of Bethany, for which our church and school is named, is known for many glorious acts in Jesus' life including the start of His Palm Sunday entrance into Jerusalem, the raising of Lazarus, and the ascension into heaven. These windows take their cue from the ascension into heaven upon which Christ began to rule the entire universe.
