Dress Down Days
It's an incredible time to be in a Lutheran School! There are so many ways to celebrate and study the birth of Christ.
To end the quarter, we will have a few dress up (actually dress down) days. Please note it's the 20 and 21 of December. We can't wait to see what the kids wear to school!
Partnering with Parents
We love partnering with our parents in their child's education! Throughout the stories in 2nd grade's Reading unit on Working Together, they welcomed 2 of their parents in for presentations. Sergeant Jody Porras from the Woodridge Police Department and Ryan Sweeney, former MLB player and current TV sports analyst, shared about their professions with the class. Praise God for their talents! #bethanyproud
Dads & Donuts 2021 was so much fun!
MVP!
Boys 7/8 fought hard to a 2nd place State finish. Thanks to LSA for a wonderful weekend of State Volleyball, to the amazing parents and fans, and to the boys and girls for working so hard all season. Special congratulations to Lukas and Henry making the All Tournament Team and to Lukas for earning the tournament MVP. To God be the glory!
State Bound!
We're kicking off State Volleyball in ROYAL style! Our staff lost bigtime to the 7th and 8th grade boys in a school-wide pep rally, and we couldn't be more excited for them! These shirts were designed by a volleyball player's grandmother, and were sold as part of the 8th grade trip fundraiser. It's so great to be a part of a loving family. Keep checking FB for updates to our State games, and LET'S GO ROYALS! #bethanyproud
Trunks N' Treats
Praise God for a perfect day to host Trunks N' Treats! Thanks to the many parents who decorated cars and to the kids for their creative costumes and enthusiasm! #bethanyproud

Chapel Offerings
This year our Chapel offerings are going to support the Redeeming Life Outreach Ministries. This incredible organization helps to support single pregnant women by giving them a stable and safe home. They look for these moms to grow in their faith with their Savior, as well as life skills education, parenting, and careers.
We believe that babies are a blessing from the Lord and we are so very thankful to our parents and their students for their generous donation to this ministry. So far we have raised $1520!
Check this website for updates (so far it doesn't include today's offering), and you can use it to contribute if you wish. God bless you! #bethanyproud https://secure.qgiv.com/for/blsb/

Chick Night in Kindergarten is SO MUCH FUN.
Here’s just another example of why an education at Bethany is so incredible: Chick Night!
Our kindergarten students have been studying the lifecycle of chicks for a few weeks. From art, to science, to Jesus time, to math… It’s all encompassing! These kids know so much that they didn’t three weeks ago! Watching these chicks go through their life cycle, and hearing them peep-peep away now in the class has truly been a highlight for these little kiddos.
Here are just a few of the super precious pictures from a wonderful family night. May God continue to bless our families and Bethany Lutheran! #bethanyproud #Sent2Serve
So thankful we were able to have a band concert!
We had a great track meet with Batavia!
Our annual 5th grade trip to Walcamp is a highlight of the year!
This year our 6th and 7th graders went to Walcamp because of covid. They had a blast! A whole week of outdoor education is an incredible experience.
