Jr. High Careers & Manners

Really special day today as we got back to our annual Careers and Manners Luncheon! Thank you SO much to Hale Street Cantina (https://www.facebook.com/HaleStreetCantina) and our distinguished speakers!

8th Grade Winter Map Scores

Bethany is the whole package- taking care of mind, body, and soul. We help to give children a firm foundation in their faith. We play outside (hello sledding in the winter!) and offer no-cut sports at a young age. We show children the beauty of God's creation. Take a look at our standardized test scores of the Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) tests. Here's our 8th grade averages compared nationally. These kids know they are loved here and it shows in everything they do.

Dress Down Days

It's an incredible time to be in a Lutheran School! There are so many ways to celebrate and study the birth of Christ.

To end the quarter, we will have a few dress up (actually dress down) days. Please note it's the 20 and 21 of December. We can't wait to see what the kids wear to school!

Partnering with Parents

We love partnering with our parents in their child's education! Throughout the stories in 2nd grade's Reading unit on Working Together, they welcomed 2 of their parents in for presentations. Sergeant Jody Porras from the Woodridge Police Department and Ryan Sweeney, former MLB player and current TV sports analyst, shared about their professions with the class. Praise God for their talents! #bethanyproud
