Describe the path to your current vocation.
I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Arizona State University and my Master’s Degree from National Louis University. I was a nurse before I went into teaching. I enjoy working with children. It is very rewarding to see them learn new skills. I also like to help students with special needs. I am very glad to see them succeed at tasks that they thought were too difficult for them to master.
When did you become a Lutheran?
I became a Lutheran when I got married to my husband in 1996. He was a Lutheran and was an elder in the church. I became involved in the church as well, teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.
