Describe the path to your current vocation.

I wanted to be a teacher when I was growing up.  I especially enjoyed (and still do) working with younger children.  I received both my BA degree in Elementary Ed., and my MA degree in Early Childhood Ed. from Concordia University in River Forest, IL.

When did you become a Lutheran?

I was baptized when I was 3 weeks old at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Madison, WI on March 30th (Palm Sunday that year) by Rev. Ziehlsdorff.

What do you love most about your job?

I love being able to share the Gospel as I work and play with young children.

What was your longest or most favorite road trip?

Our most memorable road trip was a 2 week family trip to Walt Disney World combined with a college visit to the University of Tampa in July of 2008.  Since both of our children were old enough to drive, we all took turns.  One of the many hi-lights was having a great viewing spot in the center of Main Street for the 4th of July fireworks even though the Magic Kingdom reached capacity.

What are your hobbies?

I enjoy sewing and doing hand embroidery.
