In Handwriting we learned the names of the 4 types of lines. We also learned how to use the letter pieces to make Mat Man, as well as started seeing how they can be used to make letters.

Prairie plants
After learning about some of the most common plants found on the American prairie, we started making our own version of the plant that we thought was most interesting/unique.

Meeting Regrouper Trooper!
We spent 2 days acting out, modeling, and practicing the concept of regrouping 10 ones into 1 ten or 1 ten into 10 ones. This is a HUGE concept that is the foundation for the rest of the year!
