Making predictions in Preschool! With our “Humpty Dumpty” unit, the students will egg-speriment with different materials to decide if they will break or not. So egg-citing!
Bethany Buddies
Family means everything to us. That’s why we spend so much time teaching the children how to interact in a Christian way, how to ask for forgiveness and forgive one another, and how to love our neighbor. Here’s our kindergarten students with their sixth grade buddies, creating memories that last a lifetime
Safety Patrol
Our Safety Patrol ambassadors received their training from Mrs. Dunwell. Be on the lookout for them to help you and your little ones in the mornings and at dismissal. Safety is a priority, and it’s also a great way to teach our older students how to serve their neighbor.
We are joyfully loved in Christ Jesus.
God's glorious creation
One of the reasons our school is so special is because we give the children a firm foundation for life. Here our preschoolers are learning about when God created the world in their first preschool chapel. Preschool through eighth grade, the children learn that they are uniquely and beautifully created by God. The same God who created the earth and the stars, created us! Now that is something worth celebrating.
Our run, but His glory.
Playing for God’s glory, not ours.
Supporting our 8th grade class trip to Washington D.C.
These Bethany 8th graders, who have been together since Kindergarten, were busy selling candy bars for their class trip to Washington D.C. Many thanks to those who supported their efforts today at church.
This.
5th Graders BUG out!
Our fifth graders study insects in depth. One of the culminating activities is their bug display! (Bugs can be caught and kept alive, or dead bugs are mounted.)
2019 Chapel Offerings: the Military Project Mission
This year our chapel offerings will be going to support the Military Project Mission through Concordia Theological Seminary Ft. Wayne.
The Military Project Mission strives to support chaplains of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod and other military personnel in theaters of war and their families, with prayers, encouragement and items of support for both their body and, most especially, their life in Christ.
Our donations will go toward Body & Soul Care Packages, Devotional Materials, and much more. Click here to find out more! https://www.ctsfw.edu/supp…/give-for-today/military-project/ . We are thankful for our service men and women, our military chaplains, and our freedoms they defend. God Bless America and God Bless Bethany! ❤️ #bethanyproud
Our Jr. High gives back by pitching in!
Our Jr. High students help to take care of our property and our street. We love having our students give back to the community that has given us so much.
Our chicks have hatched!
What better way to study the life cycle than to experience it first-hand! Life in Kindergarten is SO exciting!
Bethany in the Community
Our 1st graders and Kindergarteners brought the comfort of Jesus to Sunrise Senior Living in Naperville. It was beyond precious!
Curriculum Fair is always a joy! These students accomplish and learn SO MUCH throughout the year.
Our Kindergarten - 8th Grade Fine Arts Festival was beautiful and inspiring!
We LOVE LOVE LOVE the fine arts here at Bethany. This year's Fine Arts Festival included the band and choirs of our Kindergarten - 8th Grade students. It was a total success!
We love celebrating the special dads in our lives!
Our first track meet of the season was warm and beautiful!
4th and 5th Graders learn by doing!
Our 4th and 5th graders work together on an Inquiry Science unit that includes all sorts of hands-on activities. On this particular day, their eggs were dropped from the ceiling. The students had to design boxes, containers, or other ideas to keep their eggs from cracking. They had so much fun and they learned so much!
