BEAUTIFUL day for our first cross country meet today at Lombard! We took home 3 individual medals (a first place, second place and third place finish) and all our teams finished in the top 3! Even more importantly the teammates all cheered for one another & worked together, and we give all glory to God!
8th grade chemical reactions
Our 8th graders are exploding with excitement for chemical reactions! Each child is researching a real life example of a chemical reaction and is going to teach their classmates about what they’ve learned. Topics include fireworks, mixing colors and pigments, glassblowing, fire flies, jet engines, motorcycle engine mechanics, electronics, and baking! #makingdisciplesforlife #bethanyproud

Today we had a ribbon cutting ceremony and dedication, as well as a Staff Ga Ga Pit game! We are just so proud of Kyle and all his fundraising efforts, hard work, and dedication to Bethany. Kicking off the Royal Run!
We had a beautiful morning for the kick off of our Royal Run! Our students run a full marathon during the school year, and keep track of their progress while learning math, graphing, and pie charts.
A few of our youngest students didn't think they couldn't finish the lap today, and so our older students surrounded them, cheered them on, and ran with them! They all finished strong, and a least a few staff members got teary over how sweet it was.

Cross Country Season is here!

Oh the joys of being a Kindergartner at Bethany Lutheran! Our K students experience specials for the first time: art, PE, music, and of course, chapel. Working on the Kindergarten t-shirts for next year's class... can't wait to get these! Our newest kiddos all come for a "Kindergarten Come & Play" for parents, siblings, and future kindergarten students so we can start building their life-long friendships immediately! They spend an hour on the playground with one another and get all their Bethany swag.
