Celebrating Reformation 500!

On October 31, Christians all over the world celebrated the 500th anniversary of the Reformation, which started when Martin Luther nailed 95 Theses to the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany.  We've been learning about Luther's life, why the church needed reforming, and what he did to return the church to focusing on Jesus.  Today we enjoyed learning about the skill of sequencing as we sequenced Luther's life.  We also each got to write some theses of our own and we posted them on our church door.  We made it to 73 before time ran out!  We made hammer snacks from some John Tetzel pretzels and the 95 Reese's Theses and ended the day by learning about the Luther Rose and coloring it in the style of George Seurat.  We call it Dot-Dot Seurat!
