We experienced the Chinese tradition of story-telling using tangrams to create the people or animal characters. We then challenged ourselves to create the original tangram square, which legend has it, an emperor had his guards do when he dropped a piece of glass and it broke. After much perseverance, and a few hints, we all accomplished this great challenge of 2nd grade!
