In preparation for Thanksgiving, we reviewed the lives of Pilgrim and Wampanoag children using a non-fiction article. We analyzed this article to see how it relates to the organization structure and colors we’re learning about in writing. We worked together to make an outline of key words and information from the article. Finally, we each made a turkey to tell a main idea, some details, and a conclusion based on what we learned in the text.
