Nutrition activities
We had fun playing games to practice our MyPlate knowledge and writing about different foods.
Guest Science teacher
Mrs. Schafer came in and talked to us about the importance of healthy eating and exercise. She even showed us what happens to our food after we put it in our mouth!
Greasy food lab
We tested carrots, butter, potato chips and pretzels to see which foods would leave a grease spot on the paper.

Grammar workshop
In Grammar we're practicing writing complete sentences and identifying the subject. We had fun writing 2 facts and a fib about pictures and then having a fib-finding friend identify our fib sentences!
Math class
Today in Math we practiced using pattern blocks to cover a shape outline. We then said how many of each block we used to create our shape. We were amazed at how different each person's was and enjoyed figuring out our classmate's puzzles as we tried to recreate their shape based on their numbers.
