4/27 Lesson plans

Hello families!

I hope everyone took advantage of today's sunshine and warmth after all the cold and rain we've had the last few days!

THANK YOU so much for all the hard work the students put in for our Solar System projects last week!  It was so fun to hear what the students found unique about each planet, see how clever everyone was with making their projects, and hopefully everyone learned a few new facts too.  :)  If you haven't already, please make sure to send your child's project to me in Seesaw (picture for most) and I'll post all of them to the Seesaw blog for families to enjoy.  That is the last of our major projects for the year.  While we would have done something similar in the classroom, there would have also been an in-class curriculum fair project, which is why I still wanted to have them do something similar at home, to combine the research and writing component and the creative project based components of the Curriculum Fair.

There will still be small weekly projects as part of our remote learning, but they're quite different than the Solar System one!  Since next week's may require a little advance planning, I'll give you a heads up now: the children will need to make a recipe that uses a MIXED NUMBER as part of the ingredients (we're covering that this week).

Otherwise, here are this week's plans!  With packet pick-up on Tuesday, there are fewer assignments on that day.  Videos will be posted by the day they're needed, and Seesaw activities will be released to the students on the day they're assigned,  For the rest of the year I'll plan to Zoom on Wednesdays and Fridays at 2:30.

Moms, I'd like to invite you to Bethany's newest Bible study, Shelter Sisters!  You can find more information at https://bethanylcs.org/sheltersisters.

Finally, I'm attaching a little note from our teachers- we miss you! You can also check out the video version here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/12KbpKctNFsXK2GpNx8m1zaVL11K0buX4/view?fbclid=IwAR1GirLAnI9jLB_IqasNVSkTniG1HsZpW5I7fDlPPhheGLaiKivnGipKgSE

Let's have a blessed week in Christ as we explore life cycles!
